Kshiraj Telang is a formidable force in the Indian digital artist community, and co-founder of Pencillati. A self taught digital artist, a rare gem who came to New Delhi from his home town twelve years ago with a dream to turn his love for art into a career. Today, he is a well-known artist, and an inspiration for upcoming talent. After early success in 2D animation and illustration, he grew a liking for game art, got his name in the credits of many games and worked for heavy weights of the likes of Booyah, Iron Galaxy Games and many more. Passion is his middle name and he is always touchy about protecting the interests of fellow artists.
A self professed gamer, gadget lover and an Apple fan, Kshiraj can rock the latest technology as fluidly as his marker pens and red pencils. He is a tireless fan of A. R. Rahman’s music, and has a dog named Wacom.
Why he wears a cap, you ask? “Because…” he says, “no one cared who I was until I put on the cap.”
